Our Opinion

Meedhupparu is an island that does everything well but nothing outstanding with the exception that it often has the best priced Beach Villas in the Maldives. It is not luxury as the Adaaran website would suggest but rather an entry 4-star. So as an all-arounder it will be great. But if you are after exceptional it might not be the right choice. But it is the Maldives! Therefore as an introduction to what the Maldives is all about, it would also be a good value choice

Location

Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is located in Raa Atoll, 136 km to the north of the capital of the Maldives, Male. Adaaran Meedhupparu offers transfer either via a domestic flight & speedboat or a seaplane.

Accommodation

Beach Villas and Sunset Beach Villas are spacious and airy. Each offers air-conditioning, ocean views, mini-bar (chargeable), tea/coffee, in-room safe. Note Meedhupparu is very much no news, no shoes, so no TVs nor Wifi in the rooms but Wifi can be found in some public places

Room types:

Beach Villas – boasting views across the Indian Ocean and are dotted around the island.

Sunset Beach Villas offer picturesque sights of the glistening turquoise seas while granting easy access to the white, sandy beaches of the island.

Restaurants and Bars

Meals are taken at the main dining room or the Sufura restaurant, serving everything from succulent seafood fresh out of the dhonis to signature European delicacies.

The Main Bar is available and serves snacks at selected times of the day.

There is also a sunset bar and cafe
