Our Opinion
This setting is magical, food superb and everything idyllic. Perhaps this is why this resort has fiercely loyal clients who return time after time. The resort only allows a maximum number of children. If you are chosing the so called All Inclusive please be aware it is not ‘All Inclusive’ as in Caribbean and Med resorts, as it does not include alcohol so think of it as Full Board…
Location
Tanjung Rhu sits on the northern tip of Langkawi – close to the Thai border. The Tanjung Rhu Resort is the only resort on this part of the island – ensuring its exclusivity and the privacy of its guests. The resort is located about 30 minutes by car from the Langkawi International Airport.
Accommodation
Each room is spacious with timber floors and large windows to take advantage of the tropical breeze. Employing the best of the Asian-Eastern influence, our decor is complemented with upholstery and drapes in soft Thai silk and pure Indian cotton fabrics. All rooms are equipped with, LCD TV, DVD and compact disc player, air-conditioning, private bar with coffee machine, & oversized bath with separate shower.
Damai – 50sqm, these rooms face an inner courtyard
Cahaya – 60sqm, are larger facing the gardens.Bayu Suria – 80sqm, these rooms have an additional dressing area, lounge and balcony with garden/pool views
Bayu Senja – 80sqm, are same as Bayu Suria, except they have sea views
Anjung – 100sqm – are very large rooms which are similar to Bayu Senja rooms, also have a private Jacuzzi. Highly recommended
