Our Opinion
This is a small property but just big enough to have an incredible range of things to do. It has excellent food & beverage, a lovely location and service is excellent. It has received excellent reviews consistently so comes highly recommended.
Location
Sands Resort is located near Flic en Flac on the West coast of Mauritius approximately 1 hour from the airport.
Accommodation
Sands Resort has 91 Deluxe room and 1 Ocean Suite. All rooms are sea facing and have either a balcony or terrace;
Rooms have one king sized bed or twin beds, air-conditioning, Minibar, WiFi, TV with satellite channels, and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms have a separate shower, and bath and a walk-in dressing area.
Restaurants and Bars
Tamarind Terrace – is the main restaurant and is open for lunch and dinner. There is a mix on international cuisines and Mauritian specialties.
Spices – is a fine dining a la carte restaurant with a wide range of flavours from around the Indian Ocean.
Pink Peppercorn – this is a beachfront restaurant offering a variety of cuisines
Dolphin Bar – enjoy some famous local rum or an aperitif, it also services snacks and sandwiches during the day.
