Our Opinion
This is another excellent 5-star resort that does everything very well. It is not a luxury property but more a lead-in 5-star so those looking for top end/exclusive experience might be disappointed. However, this hotel us excellent value for money and offers beautiful surroundings, plenty (or nothing!) to do, and also offers excellent dining options.

Outrigger Mauritius is located on the southwest coast of Mauritius near Bel Ombre.
Transfers from the airport take approximately 45 minutes.
Accommodation
Outrigger Mauritius has 181 sea-facing rooms each with sea views or beach frontage. Rooms are contemporary with a Mauritian feel and atmosphere. Each has 1 king or 2 twin beds, air conditioning, balcony with deck chairs, a bathtub and shower, coffee & tea facilities, complimentary wifi, hair dryer a minibar and satellite LCD TV with CD/DVD player.

Deluxe Seaview (63sqm) – plenty of space with sea views
Deluxe Family Seaview (74sqm) – these are larger with 1 king or 2 twin beds and bunk beds or rollout beds and can accommodate a maximum 2 adults + 3 children (4-18 years) + 1 infant (up to 3 years)
Beachfront Club (63sqm) – these are beachfront and also have club lounge access.
Beachfront Junior Suite (78sqm) – these are larger rooms with a living area
Beachfront Senior Suite (130sqm) – these have separate living and sleeping areas
Beachfront Villa – with 7,266 square feet/675 square metres of living space this has
2 kings and bunk beds or rollout bed and can accommodate a maximum 4 adults + 6 children (4-18 years) + 2 infants (up to 3 years). Perfect for an extended family or two families travelling together.

Edgewater Bar & Grille – this stylish restaurant overlooks the oceanfront swimming pool with a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. Local classics and Eurasian dishes with a modern twist headline the tasty menu.
Mercado – an energetic international food market dining concept that encourages guests to interact with chefs at the exhibition kitchens. The restaurant celebrates cuisines from Europe, the Mediterranean, North and South Asia, and India with vibrant flavours emanating from live cooking stations.
Rouben’s Wine Room – located adjacent to Mercado, this wine cellar showcases the finest wine from all over the world. Available for private dinners and exclusive wine tastings with reservations.
