Location
30 minutes from Beef Island Airport by private boat transfer.
Accommodation
Necker Island can be hired in its entirety for up to 34 guests. The islands exceptional accommodation can also be booked individually at certain times of the year. There are 8 bedrooms in the Great House (plus a bunkroom that can sleep up to 6 children) and 6 individually designed Bali Houses which are dotted around the island and share access to either a plunge pool or a large private pool. In the centre of the island you will find the intimate Love Temple and the magnificent Temple House which boasts an open air lounge-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful private infinity pool. All accommodation is exquisitely appointed, air-conditioned and features a king size or twin beds, satellite TV, a private terrace with sun loungers and every luxury imaginable.
Restaurants & Bars
The Great House is the focal point of the island where guests gather to dine and socialise most evenings. Meet at the bar for cocktails then head to the roof terrace where dinner is served, with a variety of themes to make each night unique. Michelin-trained chefs will treat you to the finest cuisine with imaginative menus, freshly caught seafood and wonderful grills. Alternative dining options around the island include lunch or dinner served at The Beach Pavilion, picnics or barbecue lunches on the sand at Turtle Beach and romantic candlelit dinners on the shore at Bali Hi Beach. All-Inclusive includes all meals and unlimited drinks from the bar, including Champagne, wines and spirits, tennis and fitness centre, watersports including windsurfing, wake boarding, sailing, kite surfing, windsurfing, paddle boarding and snorkelling, theme nights and legendary Necker Island parties.
Facilities & Activities
There is no shortage of things to do here with an intimate spa, a fitness centre, 2 tennis courts and a vast array of complimentary watersports. Power boating, scuba diving, golf and excursions to nearby islands can also be arranged at an additional charge. There are 2 infinity pools (one with a swim-up bar), hiking trails and even a zip line down to Turtle Beach. The gorgeous Beach Pavilion provides a real home from home feel and features a bar, a cinema and a comfortable lounge area with an enormous sofa and big screen TVs. There is plenty of wildlife roaming around Necker – keep your eyes peeled and you will spot flamingos, giant tortoises, iguanas and even Madagascan lemurs. For James Bond wannabes, the islands high tech toys include the three-man aero-submarine, Necker Nymph, which can dive down to depths of 100 ft.
