Dhigali

One of the Maldives’ newest resorts, Dhigali sits in the remote Raa Atoll. It can be reached by a short domestic flight and boat ride from Male airport, but we recommend upgrading to a scenic seaplane journey of just 45 minutes. Excellent hospitality and cool modern design features are highlights here, but in this less-developed atoll you can also gain a real sense of local culture.

Michaela recently visited Dhigali on an incredible trip to a variety of islands in the Maldives. Read all about it – HERE.

Our Opinion

“Everybody wants to know which is my favourite island, and whilst it’s very difficult to choose one island, it would have to be Dhigali – it wowed me from the second I touched down in the seaplane! I felt emotional there because it was just so stunning!” – Michaela after her recent educational trip to the Maldives.

One of the few developed resorts in the Raa Atoll.

Approx. 30 minutes by domestic flight via Ifuru or Dharavandhoo airport plus a 40-minute speedboat transfer, or a recommended 45-minute seaplane ride (extra cost) from Male airport.

Faru specialises in beachside grilled meats and seafood, and in a tropical setting, Battuta offers signature dishes. The two bars provide the choice of casual poolside drinks at East and sundowners at Haali.
