Our Opinion
This is a relatively small resort on the stunning each coast of Mauritius. It is a recently renovated so it is in great shape. Reviews are consistently good or excellent. It is a 3-Star plus so if you are after luxury it might not be the right hotel. But it is a great hotel that offers incredible value for money and while it is small and friendly, it is big enough to offer things to do.

Tropical Attitude is located on the east coast of Mauritius near Trou d’Eau Douce.
Accommodation
The rooms at Tropical Attitude have been recently renovated and smartened up. The architecture of the two-storey bungalows is typically Creole under their white tin roofs; they each shelter 4 rooms. Rooms are decorated in natural colours each with air conditioning, TV (mostly local channels), a safe, a hair dryer, beach towels, and a bathroom with shower. A mini-bar, tea and coffee are also available at an extra cost.
Sea View Standard Rooms – 33sqm in size and offer sliding glass doors allowing views of Trou d Eau Douce lagoon and Ile aux Cerfs in the background.
Family Rooms – Are two separate rooms and a common balcony accessible from the parents room. They both have a double room with television, a children’s room with two single beds, a bathroom with shower and toilets. They open up on the hotel garden, close to the table-tennis and the beach-volley area providing thus long entertaining moments for the children. There are only 2 family rooms, so book early!
Restaurants and Bars
Le Cocotier Restaurant is a contemporary style restaurant overlooking the lagoon and offers a variety of European or traditional Mauritian dishes. Four evenings a week taste the various buffets with different themes, twice a week an a la carte dinner is served and once a week enjoy the five-course gala evening meal.
La Canne a Sucre – A full service bar situated next to the restaurant. Beach service is available for those relaxing in the garden, on the comfortable sun beds in front of the bedrooms.
