The Cape Panwa Hotel embodies tropical luxury in one of the worlds most desirable destinations. Cape Panwa Beach is perfect for year round swimming. Phuket’s south western winds blow from May until October making the seas on the west coast quite rough. However, the seas on the east coast, especially at Cape Panwa, are sheltered and calm.
Our Opinion
The Cape Panwa is a Far East classic. It remains a legendary hotel that constanting improves and evolves. While it is not a luxury property, it remains a Phuket favourite with an excellent range of facilities and a beautiful beach. It is a bit of a hideaway but everything is within easy reach if you want to get out and about.

Accommodation
Cape Panwa has 204 rooms and suites blending superbly with the natural beauty of the area. Rooms include air-conditioning, television, CD/DVD player, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, bath, shower, hairdryer, safe and private balcony with double sun bed and sea view (some obstructed by palm trees
Superior Rooms – Spacious rooms that are seafacing (although there are palm trees)
Junior Suites – More spacious and feature a large bathroom and views of Panwa Bay and the surrounding area.
Cape Suites – Include an outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony, Wi-Fi access, iPod speakers and a flat-screen television.
Family Suites – Feature two bedrooms with outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony.
Private Pool Villas – Are close to the beach and featuring two bedrooms, a living room and a large private pool are available on request.

Cafe Andaman РA casual and inviting open air restaurant overlooking the picturesque main swimming pool. As the hotels main restaurant, it serves a daily buffet breakfast as well as all day dining featuring Thai and international specialties. Live music in the evening will complete your Caf̩ Andaman experience.
Panwa House – This magnificent Sino-Portuguese mansion on the beach featuring authentic Thai delicacies is not to be missed! Famous as a movie set, Panwa House serves up truly sensational dishes in a wonderfully unique environment.
Top of the Reef – Top of the Reef is an elegant yet cosy grill room with stunning views of the Andaman Sea. Serving mouth-watering steaks and fresh seafood for the distinctive palate, the Top of the Reef is located on the ground floor under building E.
Uncle Nans Italian Restaurant – This inviting Italian restaurant, located at the Bay Hotel, is renowned for its classic Italian cuisine and warm and relaxing atmosphere. Sit back on the beautiful outdoor terrace and take in the panoramic views of the bay.
The Light House – The place to meet and socialize after dinner! A unique pub with a genuine nautical feel and live music. Our in-house band will entertain you while you are sipping your favorite cocktail. Located near the main entrance, across the car park.
Laem Panwa Restaurant – Local flavour and local prices! Cape Panwas outdoor seafood restaurant at the Kantry Bay Hotel is famous on the island for its succulent fresh seafood BBQ featuring delicious fish, king prawns, crab and much more, at outstanding value.
Otters Bar – This charming piano and lounge bar offers daily live entertainment and is located adjacent to the Top of the Reef restaurant. Relax after a hard day at the beach with a wide range of expertly made cocktails and drinks.
Bamboo Bar – This casual and friendly beachside bar offers cool drinks, delicious BBQ, sandwiches, salads and more right on the beach!
Clock House Pavilion – A casual cafe located in the heart of the Kantary Bay Hotel, serving snacks, sandwiches and drinks at very attractive prices. A great place to have a relaxing break from shopping at the Panwa Village.
