Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a beautiful adult only property on the northwest coast of Mauritius. This is a peaceful and tranquil retreat where you can do as much or as little as you wish.
The hotel combines harmoniously the Mauritian traditional architecture and contemporary exotic decoration. Wood everywhere – a true witness of the influence of the original East India Company’s style; frontage, floors, ceilings, terraces blend harmoniously shades and essences. The open spaces bathed in sunlight suggest a serene and refined decor.
The peninsula has a stunning infinity pool overlooking the turquoise lagoon and spectacular views on the northern islands; its Indigo restaurant and Pop-in bar is a real invitation to those looking for a vibrant and trendy atmosphere by the sea.
Our Opinion
This is a gorgeous hotel. It is subdued and no overstyled but you get a sense of Mauritian style so there is no question where you are. The hotel is extremely well run and offers impeccable service. We would not call this an outright luxury hotel, rather it is an amazing place with authentic hospitality and excellence from start to finish.
Location
Paradise Cove is situated on the north coast of Mauritius at Anse la Raie. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful 30,000 m2 tropical garden around a beautiful cove in very private and intimate surroundings and offers a spectacular view on the five northern islands.
Accommodation
Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel has 67 rooms and suites. The refined decoration and furniture, the materials and colours chosen endow the rooms with a soft and serene atmosphere, favouring comfort and intimacy.
All the rooms open on a terrace or a balcony fitted with a double armchair for real relaxing moments; they open up on the cove with its love nests, the lagoon in the background. Facilities include Bathroom with shower and bath tub, pillow menu, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, Satellit TV, Safe, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities and more.
Deluxe Rooms have 50 square metres of space and are situated on the ground floor and on the first floor. They all open up on a terrace or a balcony. They offer a beautiful view on the garden and the white sand cove.
Deluxe Premium Rooms have 50 square metres and are situated on the first and second floor. These also have a DVD player, a docking station for Ipod.
Club Junior Suite are slightly larger with 60 square metres and have access to the VIP Club Lounge. Other extras include a DVD player, a docking station for Ipod, and a Nespresso coffee machine..
Club Senior Suite are much larger offering 90 square metres of space with indoor and outdoor space. The Club Senior Suite guests have access to the VIP Club Lounge. Situated on the ground floor, these suites are a combination of chic and intimate setting. The choice of paintings and the rattan lamp add a note of exoticism to this haven of peace and tranquillity. Space and luxury are the key words of the elegant bathroom. The built-in Jacuzzi tub, the spacious shower and the grey tiles contribute to that “art de vivre†atmosphere. There are two wooden sunbeds to enjoy on the furnished terrace
Restaurants and Bars
There are four restaurants and a unique “Dine Around†concept allowing the guests to discover three of them: The Dining Room, XO and The Cove. The Chef and its team will invite you to discover and interesting and varied local and international cuisine.
The Dining Room – The main restaurant opens up on a wide terrace overlooking the swimming pool area with a view on the gazebos along the wooden deck. The Dining Room offers different options for a unique culinary experience; guests have the choice between menus with different themes, buffet or table cuisine.
The Cove – This seafood restaurant is nested among coconut trees and in between the swimming pool and the cove, overlooking the latter.
XO is open in the evening and offers Asian fusion cuisine.
Indigo Restaurant & Pop-in Bar is a few strides from the beachfront, overlooking the lagoon, the Peninsula restaurant is a real invitation to those looking for a vibrant and trendy atmosphere by the sea.
S.T.A.Y Bar is a chic and warm lounge for memorable moments.
The Rum Gallery is tucked away in the lobby and offers a selection of rums from around the World.
