Our Opinion
Reethi Rah means beautiful island and the name defiantly says it all, from powder white sands, to crystal blue seas this stunning island is a firm favourite with our guests, many of whom are lucky to visit year after year. A true idyllic resort with no less than 12 white powder beaches and 40 inviting pools; if you are looking for privacy and something chic this has to be the island for you.

Located in the North Male Atoll, your transfer from Male airport will take 75 minutes by luxury yacht.
Accommodation
One and Only Reethi Rah is home to 130 private villas discreetly placed along the shore, with 98 Beach Villas secluded by lush tropical greenery, and 32 Water Villas set above the clear, protected waters of the lagoon.
Beach Villas – Occupying their own stretch of sandy shore, these villas afford direct views of the ocean and access to a private beach. Decor is sleek with clean lines, a perfect foil for the tropical wood and thatch exteriors. Large verandas with picturesque outdoor seating areas and sun bed, provide for an indulgent getaway.
Beach Villa with Pool – Boasting a private outdoor, 23sqm pool as well as an outdoor dining area and daybed shaded by tropical trees and stretching towards the ocean adds to the allure of the Beach Villas. In addition to the versatile exterior living space, Beach Villas with Pool feature either one King-size or two Queen-size beds, oversized tub and indoor and outdoor showers. (165sqm including pool)
Grand Beach Villa – One&Only Reethi Rahs largest villas, the Grand Beach Villas are nestled in the islands natural greenery and have a private stretch of beach. Astounding interior space offers one or two bedrooms, separate dining and sitting room, and a spacious bathroom with a luxurious soaking tub designed for two. Shady verandas, ideal for al fresco dining, provide a generous outdoor seating area, a private 50sqm pool, and canopied day bed. (One-bedroom 260sqm and Two-bedroom 322sqm)
Duplex Beach Villa – Ideal for families, Duplex Beach Villas consist of two Beach Villas, five metres apart, joined by an external walkway. An expanse of private shoreline stretches directly onto the white sand and inviting waters of the beach. One villa features a King-size bed, the other offers two Queen-size beds. 135sqm in size, the Duplex Beach Villas with pool are screened by abundant greenery, offering as much, or as little, privacy as required. Each has an outdoor shower and veranda, and the 23sqm pool is shared.
Water Villa – These villas are the same size as the Beach Villas, 149sqm and feature netted wraparound hammocks suspended over the water on the outer rim of the deck allowing for breezy sunbathing or relaxing stargazing.
Grand Water Villas with Pool – Surrounded by 33sqm of chic decking ideal for outdoor relaxation and dining, each of these spectacular villas offers wraparound over-water hammocks, platforms for sun beds, and a 20sqm private pool.
Restaurants and Bars
Reethi Rah is home to some of the finest cuisine in the Maldives, with something to tempt the most discerning of taste buds.
Reethi Restaurant – A temple of exquisite dining, the dramatic design of Reethi Restaurant frames the natural beauty all around and the stunning cuisine, impeccable service and low-key ambience within. An eclectic menu fuses flavours from Asia Pacific and the Mediterranean into a light, contemporary cuisine. Floor-to-ceiling glass screens reveal the open show kitchen, and a walk-in wine room with an extensive collection doubles as a private dining room for special events.
Rah Bar – Swimmers and sunbathers need not to move far from the main pool to partake in the amazing menu at the adjacent Rah Bar. An all day menu of healthy salads, wraps and snacks also offers low-fat smoothies made with exotic fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of waters and a fresh juice station. With the fall of evening, Rah Bar is transformed into a vibrant cocktail bar with live music, cool martinis, tropical cocktails, sparkling champagne and a fine collection of vintage rums from the Indian Ocean and Caribbean islands.
Tapasake – This over-water venue combines incredible sunset views with modern Japanese cuisine. For the purist, the chef hand-picks ingredients ensuring sushi and sashimi meet the highest standards. The menu features superb fish and seafood, fresh from the Indian Ocean, transformed into Indian-Japanese tapas. In addition to a selection of premium Sakes, the wine lists concentrates on the worlds’ best Rieslings.
Fanditha – Hidden on the northern tip of the island is the sensual, Arabesque Fanditha. This exotic, beachside spot serves an a la carte Middle Eastern influenced menu of mezzehs, chargrills and salads, accompanied by the finest selection of chilled roses and champagnes. At the lounge area, guests may laze on divan-style bolsters and Arabic carpets, on bamboo loungers or in woven hammocks. On selected evenings, there are late-night parties under the stars with live DJ entertainment, creating a chill-out ambiance amidst chandeliers dangling from trees.
Leisure and Sports Facilities
Reethi Rah offers an abundance of facilities whether you want to relax and unwind or feel a little more active there is something for everyone to enjoy. Of course there is spectacular snorkelling and diving, plus water-skiing, speedboat hire and parasailing, big game fishing, dhoni cruises and day trips amongst many other fun filled options. The resort even has two floodlit tennis courts and private tuition. There are Kids and Teen clubs to keep the young ones entertained too.
