Our Opinion
The Preskil Beach remains a firm favourite with TravelLab guests and Jai has visited this resort twice. Andy also visited on a recent trip to Mauritius, and these were his thoughts: “
A very cool and contemporary hotel that has recently been rebuilt to a very high standard. Preskil Island is a 4.5* property located around 20 minutes from the international airport so getting there is an absolute doddle and a very good option for people who are seeking high quality and minimum travel time. Despite it’s proximity to the airport the resort itself feels very peaceful and secluded, this is no doubt helped by being located on its own private peninsula and being able to boast a beautiful lagoon to swim or snorkel in.”

Located on the south-eastern coast, just a quick 15 minute transfer from the airport.

Lagoon Rooms are spread out within a one-storey building which lots across the peninsula. All rooms, located on the ground and 1st floor, lead onto a balcony or terrace with sea view and are equipped with air-conditioning, television (international satellite channels), telephone with direct international access, dial-up Internet connection, mini-bar, electronic safe, shower, hair dryer, and tea & coffee-making facilities.
Prestige Rooms:
Prestige Rooms are located in colonial style cottages offer breath taking views over the lagoon, the Lion Monument and the outer islands. All rooms, located on the ground floor, lead onto a terrace with sea view and are equipped with air-conditioning, television (international satellite channels), telephone with direct international access, dial-up Internet connection, mini-bar, electronic safe, corner bathtub, hair dryer, bathrobe, and tea & coffee-making facilities.
Deluxe Penthouses:
Deluxe Penthouses are located in colonial style cottages offer breath-taking view over the lagoon, the Lion Monument and the outer islands. All rooms, located on the 1st floor, lead onto a balcony with sea view and are equipped with air-conditioning, television (international satellite channels), telephone with direct international access, dial-up Internet connection, mini-bar, electronic safe, open-plan bathroom, hair dryer, bathrobe, and tea & coffee-making facilities.

Spices:
The hotel’s main restaurant comprises various settings, each offering a specific thematic decoration, is open daily for breakfast and dinner. In the evening, Spices Restaurant offers sumptuous buffets comprising international dishes as well as local exotic cuisine.
Tapas Grill & Beach Bar:
Ideally located on the beachfront, you will come across a charming Mediterranean-style deck, which proposes sunshine cuisine, with a hint of the tropics, at lunchtime and during the evening.
Charka Steak House & Bar:
This new steakhouse is a must during your stay. With its African concept and influence, Charka proposes a large choice of meats imported from South Africa.
