This colourful village has a distinctly tropical flavour from its pretty thatched-roof villas and peaceful gardens to lively sports. It is a comfortable, relaxed hotel and is set in 25 acres of manicured gardens, with one of East Africa’s most glorious beaches, Diani Beach, right on its doorstep. If you want to be active, try the deep sea fishing or learn how to windsurf in the warm Indian ocean. There is also a scuba diving centre conveniently situated close by. Wedding couples can choose their wedding location in the hotel’s lush tropical gardens overlooking the white sands of Diani beach.
Our Opinion
A simple but lovely 4-star resort that is usually very good value for money too.
Location
Ideally situated on the wonderful beach, approx. 40 km south from Mombasa. It is here that you can experience the hustle and bustle of an African metropolis.
The transfer time from the airport some 45 km away is approx. 2 hours.
Accommodation
The resort has 166 rooms. The pleasantly decorated double rooms all have telephone, satellite TV, safe, air conditioning, shower, WC, balcony or terrace.
Standard Room
Simply decorated rooms with garden views.
Superior Room
Have enhanced decor and more space with the additional of coffee/tea making facilities.
Restaurants & Bars
The resort has a main restaurant with varied buffets, one à la carte restaurant and 2 bars. You will be impressed by the quality, variety and freshness of the dishes, whether you decide in favour of the buffet or à la carte.
All Inclusive:
Meals: Full board in the main restaurant. Snacks from 10am-6pm in the à la carte restaurant.
Drinks: Soft drinks, still mineral water by the glass, coffee, tea, draught local beer, national spirits and house wine with meals (available 10am-midnight).
Activities: Tennis, table tennis, putting green, beach volleyball, water polo and introductory scuba-diving lesson in the pool.
Leisure & Sports Facilities
Varied sports activities such as aerobics, water gymnastics, beginner’s diving in the pool, tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, darts, billiards, boccia and mini golf.
